Don T. “Butch” Inman
Don T. “Butch” Inman, Jr., 54 of Minden Mines, Mo. died May 5, 2008 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Mr. Inman was born March 11, 1954, in Pittsburg, the sone of Don T. and Dollie (Verga) Inman Sr. He attended elementary schools locally, but graduated from Heavener High School in Heavener, Okla.
He worked for Union Pacific and the Kansas City Southern railroads as a car repairman. Most recently he worked for Watco Inc, in Pittsburg, as a car repairman, and later became a supervisor.
He was married to Paula Sanford Dec. 30, 2004, in Lewiston, Idaho. She survives of the home.
He was of the Methodist faith. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved woodworking.
Additional survivors include his daughter Crystal Fields and her husband Scott of Frontenac; sons Chris Inman and his companion Vicky of Pittsburg, and Lee Manning and Jacob Sweeney both of the home; his mother Dollie Inman of Frontenac; uncles Bill Verga of Pittsburg and Jackie Verga of Arma and aunt Edith Marchello of Frontenac; Five grandchildren: Kenndi, Karma and Kaston Fields of Frontenac and Taylor and Taegue Inman of Pittsburg, and numerous cousins and a host of other family members.
Mr. Inman was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
Memorial services will be 1p.m., Tuesday at Friskel Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Paschke officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Pittsburg.
