The Rev. Doug Amend, left, and Crawford County Clerk Don Pyle bring boxes of donated food into a converted classroom at First Christian Church in Girard on Tuesday. The food was donated by Pyle's staff for the Girard Ministerial Alliance Food Bank for families in need. The clerk's office staff each donate $10 per month to a fund used each year for a variety of projects. In addition to the food bank donation, the fund this year provided Christmas gifts for residents of the Arma Care Center along with other projects. (Andrew D. Brosig/The Girard Press)
