Charles Edgar Gibbs III
Charles Edgar Gibbs III, died May 7 at his home.
He was born May 21, 1980, the son of Charles Edgar Gibbs Jr. and Ruby Aros (Rosete) Gibbs.
He was a longtime resident of the Girard area and attended area schools.
Charles worked for a residential construction company for several years.
Survivors include his parents of Girard; a daughter Alyssa Renee Gibbs of Girard and a son Christian Gibbs; two sisters: Connie Gibbs and husband Jeffrey Jenkins of Girard, their children Makaihlah Gibbs, Jaylynn Jenkins and Alexis Jenkins; sister: Susie Gallea and husband Bill of Blue Springs, Mo., their children Christian McCann, Jordan Gibbs and Jared Gallea.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Charles Edgar Gibbs Sr. and Kathryn Lucille Gibbs, maternal grandparents Ramiro Rosete, Sr. and Conception Rosete and an uncle, Tony Aguilera.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday at Girard City Cemetery with the Rev. Don Talent officiating. Friends are requested to meet at the Cemetery for the services. Family will receive friends from 7-8 pm Monday at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home in Pittsburg. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
