GHS students earn Renaissance cards

GIRARD -

One hundred fifty GHS students have been awarded Renaissance cards for their good behavior and academic standing during the 2007-08 fourth quarter.
To earn a gold Renaissance card, students must have no recorded tardies or more than two recorded absences during the quarter; no detentions, suspensions, or office referrals; and must be on the honor roll. Crimson cardholders only meet two of the above requirements.
Seniors who received gold cards are Taylor Batson, Natalie Blair, Katie Bradshaw, Dale Brauer, Rachel Brown, Brandon Callaway, J.D. Heatherly, Canese Jarboe, Jeanine Kunshek, Jordan Lepoglow, Raven Mack, Starr McLeod, Joni Mengarelli, Kelci Newkirk, Cody Pierce, Tanner Poppe, Logan Root, Trey Scallions, Whitney Southard, Taylor Stewart, Ariel Vinze, Kayla Vulgamore, Kaylea White, and Taylor Woods.
Seniors who received crimson cards are Kevin Allen, Jessica Bone, Michael Bouray, Tabitha Bridgewater, Nikki Cuthbertson, Bobby Feugate, Chris Garrett, Danielle Geier, Teague Harris, Brianne Haynes, Vanessa Horton, Colton James, Trenton Kichler, Kristin Lorenz, Tiffany McClintick, Macon McNair, Peter Onelio, Taylor Peak, Morgan Powell, Chayse Shanholtzer, Kyle Simons, Ashley Warner, Barbara Wellner, and Weston Widner.
Juniors who received gold cards are Gina Abati    , Andrew Augustin, Gannon Bauer, Christina Biancarelli,  Morgan Boore, BryAnna Burks, Brock Burnick, Paige Davied, Tyler Egbert, Katy Gorentz, Carly Lallemand, Nolan O’Toole, Carly Twarog, Jared Twarog, Andi Umbarger, Katie Viets, Saralyn Westhoff, and Tessa Westhoff.
Juniors who received crimson cards are Adam Aldana    , Heather Ashmore, Logan Cherry, Christopher Dee, Beth Dieterle, Kyle Duling, Irving Guzman, Elizabeth Henderson, Gary Horton, Kim Johnston, John Leach, Jami Maples, Ashley Montgomery, Shawna Murphy, Michelle Peternell, Trevor Porter, Kayla Sayre, Sara Schifferdecker, Trevor Scott, Carl Seaman, J.D. Sexton, Nick Shidler, Abigail Skinner, and Caleb Thomas.
Sophomores who received gold cards are Ariel Ashbacher, Michaela Bauer, Kaleb Belcher, Darcy Boultinghouse, Eric Bowman, Cody Bradshaw, Trevor Bruning, Zach DeBusk, Justin DeGarmo, Natalie Duling, Kenzie Dunlap, Chad Garrett, Brittany Hanson, Peyton Herlocker, Ashlee Hisey, Baylee Hisey, Kylie Kunshek, Ashley Little, Reid Murphy, Kallie O'Brien, Dalton Piatt, Nate Radebaugh, Chris Reynolds, Preston Samuels, Madalyn Smith, Tori Stewart, Shaye Tackett, Danielle Walsh, and Will Zimmerman.
Sophomores who received crimson cards are Michelle Allen, Stephanie Baima, Haley Brown, Jordan Buckamneer, Zach Coleman, Jeremy Copenhaver, Amanda Cowan, Jenna Cuthbertson, Andrea Goff, Samantha Henderson, Logan Hirst, Shelby Hobbs, Grant Kelley, Megan Kichler, T.J. Lacher, Manuel Lalicker, Jacob Light, Jaqui Maples, Connor May, Adela Milburn, Kooper O'Brien, Chris Patterson, Sara Pryor, Leah Ruark, Taylor Smith, Tori Smith, Lindsey Stolte, Evan Strickland, Simeon Taylor, and Chelsea VanLeeuwen.
Freshmen will be eligible for Renaissance cards during the second quarter based on their first-quarter performance.
A Renaissance assembly was held during seminar on Monday, Sept. 8, to kick off the program.
